Call for Abstracts

- Presentation Styles:
- Poster Presentation
- All abstracts will be screened and selected for inclusion in the poster presentation.
- The organizing committee will provide boards for the posters onsite.
- Oral Presentation
- 3 best abstracts will be selected for oral presentation by the PARM Research Committee.
- Each presenter will be given 7 minutes each for the presentation.
- The authors will be informed by December 27, 2024 if they have been selected for poster or oral presentation.
- Abstracts of those selected for poster and oral presentation will be published in the PARM Proceedings, the official journal of the Philippine Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine.
- All authors will receive certificates of participation.
- All accepted abstract presenters will be required to pay the conference registration fee and provide their own travel/accommodations.
ABSTRACT GUIDELINES:
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Abstracts will be limited to 400 words.
- Words in headings, tables, diagrams, references, and disclosures are excluded from the word count.
- Submissions with pending results will not be accepted.
- Abstracts should include a statement on conflicts of interest/author’s disclosure regarding acknowledgment of funding sources of commercial nature or other circumstances that could have influenced the results of the study.
- Please follow the appropriate guidelines based on what you would like to submit:
- Abstracts for scientific papers (e.g., original articles, randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews)
- Structured abstract must be submitted with the following sections:
- Background
- Research Objectives
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
- Authors’ Disclosures
- May include a maximum of 2 figures or tables per abstract.
- References are optional. May include up to 3 references following the Vancouver citation style.
- Structured abstract must be submitted with the following sections:
- Abstracts for scientific papers (e.g., original articles, randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews)
- Case Reports and Case Series
- Case reports will only be accepted for Poster Presentation.
- Abstracts of case reports need not be structured but should include the following information: introduction, patient information and clinical findings, discussion and conclusions
- Case report should adhere to the CARE Guidelines
- May include a maximum of 2 figures or tables per abstract.
- References are optional. May include up to 3 references following the Vancouver citation style.
