JAIPUR Foot Camp:
Hope for Persons with Disabilities

Last February 15, 2023, the Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Capitol conducted its first JAIPUR Foot Camp. The aforementioned event was spearheaded by Dr. Pretzy Izquierdo of the Zamboanga City Medical Center- Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, accompanied by volunteers of the TZU CHI Great Love foundation.
The advocacy program catered to approximately 70 recipients with traumatic, non-traumatic and congenital amputations. They underwent medical consultation, pre-prosthetic training and assessment. Casting of affected limbs was also performed in the capitol for consequent production and fabrication of prosthetic limbs. The registered Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) were given a second chance to walk, bringing a hope-filled transformation to their lives.
